Counselling Philosophy:

You may be experiencing a season of uncertainty or emotional distress, or finding yourself challenged in your relationships with others or with yourself. You might be seeking greater emotional balance, reflecting on long-standing patterns, or exploring deeper questions about identity, meaning, or spirituality. Whatever brings you to counselling, I aim to offer a supportive and collaborative space where we can explore your experiences together at your own pace.

I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and I value counselling as a collaborative process guided by your needs, strengths, and goals. My approach is integrative and client-centred, drawing primarily from Emotionally Focused Therapy, as well as CBT, attachment-based, ACT, and somatic perspectives. This allows me to tailor our work to your unique lived experience.

I am particularly interested in supporting individuals, couples, and families as they deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships, and develop tools to navigate emotional and life challenges with greater self-compassion.

I work under the clinical supervision of Anne-Marie Kokinski Corneau, a registered Psychotherapist in the province of Ontario, ensuring professional oversight and ethical support.

Receipts are issued under my supervisor’s name and may be eligible for insurance reimbursement – clients are encouraged to verify their coverage.
