Counselling Philosophy:

“I practice from a person-centred approach, trusting that the client is an expert in their own lives. I believe meaningful therapy starts with a strong, genuine connection, and I’m committed to offering a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood.

My work is holistic and tailored to the client’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, EFT, and Narrative Therapy. Whether we’re exploring thought patterns, identifying strengths, or reshaping your story, my goal is to help you build resilience and move toward a more grounded and fulfilling life.

With a South Asian Muslim background and experience navigating multiple cultural contexts, I bring a culturally sensitive lens to my work. I understand the unique challenges that can arise around identity, immigration, and cultural integration.

As a mother of two—one of whom is neurodivergent—I also bring lived experience to my support of parents and families. I know the emotional complexity that comes with understanding, grieving and accepting a child’s diagnosis, and I strive to support caregivers with empathy, clarity, and compassion. Whether you’re adjusting to a new diagnosis, advocating for support, or finding your “new normal,” I aim to create a space where you feel validated, supported, and empowered.”
