Counselling Philosophy
I believe that life is 10 percent what happens to you and 90 percent how you respond to it and that you possess the inner resources necessary to cope with even life’s biggest stressors. My job as your therapist will be to support you in your journey, as you explore your inner self and gain a deeper insight into your thoughts, beliefs, and emotions. I use an integrative counselling approach where I tailor my approach to your needs and work collaboratively with you to set your goals for therapy. I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and non-judgemental environment where you are able to unapologetically express yourself. I also gently challenge you to help you achieve the changes you want in your life. With the combination of these therapeutic elements, I believe that anyone can develop the strength necessary to not only overcome any challenges, but also to reach their full potential.
