Counselling Philosophy / Philosophie

I believe in the inner strength of every human being to become the main actor of his improvement and healing. My job is to help you uncover your potentials for your growth and unleash your inner capacities to make the transformational changes you are yearning for. After meeting with you, we will work together hand to hand in a co-creative collaboration and assess how best to meet your need as individual, couple, or family.  I use an integrative and spiritual approach which allow me to better serve you while adapting effectively to your unique reality. We can decide together among the well-acclaimed approaches that I use, such as client centred/emotion focused, systemic, cognitive behavioural (CBT), and psychodynamic therapies as well as biblical oriented counselling for those who are seeking Christian counselling.

I do regular consultation with my supervisor for the ongoing development of my professional and ethical expertise and to discuss client concerns in confidential manner. The receipt you will receive will be in my name as a Registered Psychotherapist in the province of Ontario, which is acceptable by most insurance companies (e.g. Sunlife). It is your responsibility to determine whether my receipt is acceptable for your workplace benefits and insurance.

The regular fee for counselling is $160 (plus HST).
