Practice Areas
I aspire to create an environment where my clients feel safe, seen, and understood. I aim to work with my clients to create change that inspires a more authentic and fulfilling life. I believe the therapeutic relationship takes time to develop, and I strive to walk alongside my clients at all stages of their journey.
I work with individuals, couples, teens (12+), and families who are experiencing attachment disruptions, relationship difficulties, anxiety, and depression. My approach is centred around developing a strong relationship with my clients to create a safe space. I also use a variety of therapeutic approaches to ensure that my client’s unique experiences and goals are being considered. However, I base much of my work in attachment theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and trauma informed interventions. I offer daytime and evening appointments both in person and online.
I regularly consult with my supervisor to discuss client concerns in a confidential manner for the purposes of ongoing professional development. Psychotherapy services are not covered by OHIP but may be covered by some extended healthcare plans. It is your responsibility to determine whether my services and receipts are acceptable for your workplace benefits and insurance.
The regular fee for counselling is $160 (plus HST).
