Counselling Philosophy
I am a psychotherapist in training dedicated to creating a safe and nonjudgmental space for my clients. My primary focus is developing a trusting therapeutic relationship based on respect, collaboration, and communication.
I adopt a client-centered and integrative therapeutic approach customized to meet the unique needs of each individual. My therapeutic framework draws from a variety of methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy (NT), Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT).
I am interested in providing support and equipping individuals with the tools necessary to navigate challenges involving anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-awareness, and relationships.
I approach each client with warmth and genuine concern in order to create a safe environment in which clients can engage in therapy as they work toward improved mental health and well-being.
My specific interest is counselling youth and young adults.

I do regular supervision/consultation with Lee-Anne Boucher, Registered Social Worker, for the ongoing development of my professional and ethical expertise and to discuss client concerns in a confidential manner.
The receipt the client will receive will be in the name of my supervisor. The receipts of a Registered Social Worker in the province of Ontario are acceptable by most insurance companies (eg. Sunlife). It is the client’s responsibility to determine whether this receipt is acceptable for your workplace benefits and insurance.
The regular fee for interns counselling is $100.00 per hour session.
